Coastline

I've always enjoyed photographing along the coastline, the place where land and sea meet under vast expansive skies, giving an almost cinematic quality. There's such a connection to the natural world, an awareness of the seasons, is the tide in or out, so many wonderful variables.

There's always room to breathe at the coast and the big open spaces certainly helps the imagination to wander, and then there is the quality of the light, so important for photographers. Often, colours are enriched and vivid, particularly when combined with dramatic skies, leading to perfect conditions for photography.
